African Fact Finding Mission

African Fact Finding Mission

The Euro-African Foundation organized an “African Fact Finding Mission” of African politicians, activists and journalists to the Republic of Poland.

The mission took place between 19-23 September 2022. The African Fact Finding Mission was organized in order to investigate the impact of the war in Ukraine on African citizens in both Ukraine and Poland, as well as the impact of the war on Africa food security.

The Fact Finding mission was also tasked with investigating the situation of civilian population and human rights violations under the Russian war against Ukraine. The delegates held press conferences, provided media coverage, and published a final report about their findings in respective African countries.

The mission was led by Hon Me Gilbert Noël Ouédraogo, President of the Alliance for Democracy and Federation–African Democratic Rally (ADF-RDA), president of Africa Liberal Network, former Minister of Social Action and National Solidarity, and former Minister of Transport, former Fourth Vice-President of the National Assembly of Burkina Faso.
